Q. Who can make nominations?
A. Anyone… children under the age of 13 must have their nomination submitted as a part of one submitted by an adult or older sibling. Names and information concerning minors cannot be included in the nomination and registration information.
Q. Can I nominate more than one Mom?
A. No… We only allow each person to nominate one person. However, another family member or friend may submit a separate nomination.
Q. How are nominations submitted?
A. They may be submitted on-line via our electronic nomination form found on our website, www.blumz.com or you may pick up a nomination form in either of our two stores as well as several participating businesses in the Metro Detroit area, to be submitted in writing. Q. Who can win prizes in the contest?
A. Everyone who registers and participates in this contest can possibly win prizes.
Q. What are the prizes?
A. Prizes will include but are not limited to, a Blumz Year of Flowers, Jewelry, Dinner for Two, Gift Basket of Pampering items, Gift Certificates, Facial, Massage, a Family Portrait and more.
Q. Will there be more than one winner?
A. Yes, there will be First and Second Runners Up. First Runner Up will receive a Blumz Year of Flowers and a Massage, and the Second Runner Up will receive Blumz Flowers for a Season and a Massage. Five Consolation Prizes will be selected in addition to the three top winners and they will receive a free floral arrangement on Mothers Day.
Q. Can my Mom be voted on by others as well to increase her odds of winning?
A. Yes, on the on-line nomination form, there will be an “Email to a Friend” link that will allow you to submit email addresses of up to 10 people at a time. Your friends and family will be sent an e-mail from your address that invites them to cast their vote and add their own personal comments concerning the nomination. You may submit as many additional email addresses as you wish.
Q. What is the Nomination Deadline?
A. Nominations must be submitted by Wednesday, May 7 to allow time for our Judges to review all the nominations and make their decision. All decisions are final.
Q. How will the winner and runners up be selected?
A. A panel of judges will review all nominations and make the final decisions. The results of the judge’s three top winners will be posted on our website, www.blumz.com by Friday, May 15, 2008.
Q. When will the contest results be announced and how?
A. Contest winners will be notified Saturday, May 10, 2008. The winners and the persons who nominated them will be contacted by phone and email to be informed of the results. The Winner of Blumz Favorite Mom will be visited Mothers Day, May 11, 2008 by Blumz… by JRDesigns staff bearing gifts and flowers, Runners Up and Consolation Prize winners will be invited to our Ferndale location, Mothers Day, Sunday, May 11, to be awarded with their winnings.
